According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to April, the total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size in China reached 1,844.22 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth rate of 6.5%, which was 0.9 percentage points lower than that in January to March.
From January to April, among 41 industrial categories, the total profits of 33 industries increased year on year, while 8 industries decreased. Among them, the total profit of printing and recording media reproduction industry was 14.92 billion yuan, up 5.8% year on year; The total profit of paper and paper products industry was 21.48 billion yuan, up 10.8 percent year on year.
From January to April, the main business revenue of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 33.56138 billion yuan, up by 2.3% year on year; 28,74731 billion yuan in main business costs, up 2.1%; The profit margin of main business revenue was 5.5%. Among them, the revenue of printing and recording media reproduction owner's business was 219.43 billion yuan, up by 5.3% year on year; The revenue of paper and paper products owned by owners was 446.7 billion yuan, up 5.8 percent year on year.
In April, the total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 502.01 billion yuan, up 4.2% year on year, 6.9 percentage points lower than that in March.
